Zn 4. Pink flowers. Green heart shaped leaves.
Said to be one of the best Epimedium grandiflorum hybrids, 'Yubae' is a vigorous medium sized cultivar with very heavy bloom. The large dark rose flowers are held above the foliage. Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade and, when established, are highly drought tolerant. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters.
This appears to be identical with 'Rose Queen' with large deep rose pink flowers and fiber optic white tipped spurs. ZONE 4

1st flush of foliage is an attractive bronze color topped by loose sprays of dark rose flowers w/ long white spurs. Height: 8"-14". Zones 4-9. Deciduous.
Epimediums are the aristocrats of the shade garden and 'Rose Queen' is a lovely larger flowered deep pink selection. 15" x 15". Epimedium are deer and pest resistant, tolerant of dry shade, very forgiving of neglect and long lived.
Sepals and petals are deep, rich rosy purple on 10" tall plants. An old cultivar, syn. 'Yubae'
