Fire Dragon' has an extraordinary colour combination of yellow and light purple flowers over green foliage. Plants can grow to 14 inches tall. Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents.
An eye-catching hybrid (E. davidii x E. leptorrhizum) with extra large (1 1/2 to 2") bi-colored flowers; pink sepals, creamy-yellow cup fading to white into the long spurs. They are held well above the foliage, which is purple tinted in spring during bloom time.
