    Epilobium fleischeri is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with blue and green foliage. In summer lavender and pink flowers emerge. Attracts bees and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

    From the Alps, this airy European alpine has very fine, narrow, gray-green leaves with clouds of lavender-pink flowers all summer, and clouds of cottony seed heads in fall. It self-sows but easy enough to remove, and anyway, you may want a lot of these delightful and pretty clouds here and there in your garden to create continuity and atmosphere. 18" tall and wide. Attracts hummingbirds. Minimum temperature: -30°F

    This compact willowherb from the Alps is under-used in the garden. Its delicate, pink flowers, borne on reddish stems against gray-green foliage, are a welcome addition to any garden.
