Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Delosperma nubigenum is a mat-forming succulent with lime-green foliage covered in bright yellow flowers. Excellent for rock and alpine gardens. Deer resistant. Ice Plants grow best in well-drained, gravelly soil that is not wet in winter. Drought tolerant. Requires little water once established.
Mat forming succulent covered in summer with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers. To less than 6" tall forming low mats of evergreen leaves that turn bronze in winter and spread to 15" wide and beyond over time. A good ground cover for the sunny garden where drainage is excellent and little summer water is provided. Lovely in a rock garden or spilling over a rock wall. Frost hardy to -30 °F, USDA zone 5. Attracts butterflies and is said to be resistant to deer. Aizoaceae
Chubby bright green foliage adorn mats of ground hugging stems. Cheerful yellow composite flowers bloom in late spring/early summer. 1" tall. Great in troughs. rock walls and mixed in with other succulent plantings.
In my opinion, just THE BEST drought tolerant & deer proof groundcover you can grow! Spreading into the densest, flattest bright emerald green mat to at least 2’ across, it's fantastic for carpeting a rock garden & for trailing (or rather draping) over the edge of a raised bed or rock border. AND it's EVERGREEN & hardy too! It can take your footprints as well when working in your garden, tho I wouldn’t overdo it. Sparkly, 1” bright lemon yellow ice plant-like blooms appear in the Spring to cheer things up even more. Looks great alternated along a border edge with Delosperma sutherlandii (simultaneous pink bloom) & the later-blooming pink Delosperma lavisiae. Feed once a year for super appearance.
Definitely the most stalwart ice plant in our garden, returning year after year while others have faded away. Chunky green leaves and yellow flowers. 4" tall groundcover.
