Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Huge, brilliantly-white, flower bracts can reach 6-8"across! The lovely blooms decorate this wonderful 30-60' tree in spring and occasionally it will rebloom in autumn. Its large, heavily-textured leaves provide wonderful yellow-to-red fall color which looks exceptionally pretty with the large bright orange-red fruit clusters. This fine tree is sturdy and vigorous and makes a fabulous specimen, especially for the moonlight garden. S-Sh/M/GDr
All the nuttallis are native to the NW and I don’t suggest them for any other area. They are very susceptible to anthracnose even in the NW but , as they are large trees, people don’t look at them too carefully, and at a distance they are pretty spectacular with their large white flowers, often with a fall bloom also, and good fall color. zone 6.
Amaze your gardening friends with the huge flowers that can be up to 8" across. Thick sturdy stems. I think this one has be nipping steroids. Medium sized tree.
