Nursery contributed plant descriptions

So effuse is the radiant deep-pink color of these large flowers, that the tone has spilled over onto the heavily-textured leaves and even the branches of this special 15-20' tree developed by Brookside Gardens; beautiful reddish purple fall color completes the picture. S-PSh/M
Likely 5-10?F hardier than 'Satomi'. Reddish new growth and pink flowers.
We sell three pink kousas: Radiant Rose, Rosabella, and Satomi, and as far as I can tell, they are identical: they all have long lasting pink flowers in late spring; they are all short fat trees (to 15'), and they all have good fall color; the first year they are transplanted, they usually are only slightly pink, but become dark as they mature. zone 5
Cream flower bracts turn rose pink with age. Plant in at least 6 hours of sun for best flower color. 15' tall and wide disease resistant, deciduous tree.
