This has proved to be a strong plant that readily blooms all summer for us with fat reddish purple bells over an inch long. Large, attractive seed heads follow the blooms for a great textural interest. The open habit of this pretty vine looks especially great growing through shrubs. Small Flowered Native Clematis.
