Ever-changing color makes this compact and narrow 2-4' shrub a highlight for any border: leaves open yellow-gold, turn to chartreuse during summer and then to yellow, orange and red in fall... a Wow for Pow Wow! S/M
A new golden leaved barberry, slow growing, with a dense upright growth to about 4'. The leaves will turn chartreuse in the summer, and bright reddish-purple in autumn before the leaves fall. Small yellow flowers in spring and lots of red berries in fall.
Deciduous. Cream variegation on yellow green leaves. Fall orange tones. USDA Zones 4-9.
An outstanding variety with cream variegation on bright yellow-green leaves--they just glow! The light color tones will hold up best and show best in partial shade. 'Pow Wow' has a fine upright growth habit and the foliage becomes a campfire of yellows, oranges and reds in the fall.

Golden-yellow very early spring growth looks like small bright flowers, then it turns speckled green & white in later spring, then more green in summer, then a spectacular orange, red, and purple in fall on this deciduous 5' tall vase-shaped shrub. Cut to the ground if you'd like to occasionally refresh it. It is non-stop!
