Aster tataricus is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In fall lavender flowers emerge. Attracts bees, beneficial insects, birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - occasional water. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.
