Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bright yellow Buttercup flowers over foliage reminiscent of ferns in the genus Botrychium. Blooms in early Spring. I don't have much experience with this cool little plant yet, but is seems hardy, vigorous and easy.
Looks much like a gold flowered wood anemone. Spreading, easy to grow "filler" for the woodland garden or in front of a shady border. Prefers moist, humusy soil but tolerates drier soil in summer as they are then dormant.
Golden butter yellow flowers for the woodland in early spring on 4" stems. Slowly spreads, but not fast enough.
