This rare hybrid Maidenhair (A. capillus veneris x ?) lifts lacy fronds to 12-18", spreading slowly in shady garden or container. PSh-Sh/M
Displays lacy, fan-shaped, bright green foliage on arching black stems. Creates a dense, delicate clump of deciduous foliage. Deer resistant. Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil. Excellent for mass plantings, rock gardens, containers, in woodlands and naturalized landscapes.
A hybrid maidenhair fern. The fronds will get up to 1' tall. The lacy foliage is really beautiful all season.
Attractive charcoal-black stems hold fluffy light green leaflets on fronds 16 inches tall. It eventually increases to form a colony of lush, lacy, fresh green mounds. Deciduous. Minimum temperature: 0°F
Mairis's maidenhair produces lacy, bright green 15_ to 18_ fronds supported by brittle blackish stipes (stems). Individual fronds appear incredibly delicate and almost seem to float above the ground. While it is deciduous, it holds its fronds well into the fall season. This exciting woodlander spreads with ease through the landscape in light moist soil and filtered shade.
