Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Its dense glossy-green leaves make this vigorous vine useful in the yard, its 1" sweet fig-like fruit makes it useful in the kitchen for preserves. S/M
The hardy vine kiwi produces bunches of tiny, fuzzless kiwis even in cold climates. After the kiwis ripen in the fall, they stay good for a long time on the vine or can be harvested and stored for a month or more. Additionally, the A. arguta kiwis tend to be less acidic than regular kiwis and are far easier on your tongue! This variety, Ananasnaya or Pineapple Kiwi, is particularly sweet like a pineapple and has delicious berry-like fruit.
Both a male and female plant are required for pollination. Females are best pollinated by A. arguta male plants, but can also be pollinated by male A. deliciousa (large fuzzy kiwi) plants. Male A. arguta kiwi plants will pollinate fuzzy female varieties as well. Commercial growers usually plant six females to every one male. Planting males and females close together greatly increases the pollination rates. See information about Hardy Male Arguta Kiwi.
Hardy kiwi has emerald-green flesh and a sweet taste similar to fuzzy kiwi, but they're smaller and you eat them like a grape, tender skin and all. Kiwis require a male and female plant for pollination. 'Anna', our hardy female kiwi, is a vigorous vine that produces more than 100 lbs of fruit 3 to 4 years after planting. This item is an extra female for those who already have a male. Hardy to zone 4.
Actinidia arguta produces fragrant greenish white flowers followed by small, grape-sized fruit with smooth skin with a taste similar to but often sweeter than the large, fuzzy kiwis found in grocery stores of Actinidia deliciosa. 'Anna' is one of the most popular cultivars for gardeners and commercial growers with very sweet and flavourful fruit. Produces 100+ pounds per year. Pollinator: 'Hardy Male'.
Productive female with delicious fruit, about 1 1/2'' long. Needs male pollenizer.
Small green sweet fruit Sept-Oct (eat like grapes.) Requires male for pollination. hardy to zone 4
Vigorous female fruiting vine that is easy to grow, extremely hardy, and produces a heavy crop of tasty fruit.
