Probably the most handsome of the hardy yuccas for the Pacific Northwest. Stiff grey-blue leaves form a halo around a slowly elongating trunk. Full sun and well-drained soil for a happy plant. A little summer water for faster growth. Frost hardy in USDA zone 7.
This is one of the most attractive of all the Yuccas which can be grown in our area. This is trunk forming in time and can get quite tall but it is unlikely you will have to worry about height becoming an issue in the years you have left. Big dramatic head of softly pokey thin blue-green leaves.
Trunk forming yucca with 1 inch wide leaves creates a beautiful focal point in the garden. White flowers on 4 ft tall spike.
