Sansevieria cylindrica is an evergreen cactus / succulent with green foliage. In spring and summer pink and white flowers emerge. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in winter. Does well in average, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

These plants are very tough and adaptable, but will thrive in medium to bright, indirect light. Plant in containers, rock gardens, Mediterranean gardens or bring them inside to grace your home.
Long, cylinder shaped thick leaves with sharp tips. Beautiful structural plant! Very tall spike of white, fragrant flowers. Very easy to grow. Looks best in part shade but can tolerate pretty much anything!
Large, vertical erect round banded green leaves in clusters, Hardy to 35 °F.
Moderate water in summer, no water in winter. Rots easily if over-watered. Partial Shade to Shade. 3 foot spike-like raceme of small White Tubular Flowers. Indoor.

Sansevieria cylindrica 'African Spear' has long completely round spears or leaves growing in a single plane like a giant fan. Flower stalks are white tinged with pink, fragrant at night. This unique plant thrives on neglect and is a real conversation piece.
This plant can be used as a defensive weapon! Its stiff leaves are pointed (but not sharp) and makes a great sculpture in a pot on the patio or as a house plant. Can grow to 3' tall.
