Descriptions of Rosa virginiana
A hardy and very disease resistant with bright pink, fragrant flowers in early summer. The blooms are followed by large hips that can persist well into winter. Fall foliage is colorful and the prickles have a nice reddish tone in winter for even more seasonal interest. Scent: Light, Sweet. Class: Wild Climber. Origin: East US.
