Pyrrosia lingua is an evergreen rock-dwelling fern from northeast Asia with tongue-shaped, leathery fronds with cinnamon-felted undersides. It can be grown in open potting mix, orchid mix, or on a slab. Keep dry in winter; water and fertilize in summer. A good houseplant.

This choice evergreen fern has been hardy for us to 14 degrees with no foliage damage – 14" tall, clumping to 2' or more – Morning sun to shade – try in a sphagnum lined basket for an awesome display! Nice with other ferns, astilbes, bleeding heart. Exotic, rare and undemanding!
