Polygonatum humile is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring white flowers emerge followed by black fruit. Features glossy texture. Grows well with bright shade - shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

Sweet little 4-6” tall stems form a woodland ground cover; white dangling bells ring for the fairies in mid spring! Delicate looking but not wimpy! Will take some dry shade, light to full shade, decent soil, water if soil dries out before bloom is finished. USDA Z4
Miniature plants have heavily rippled, long narrow leaves (6"x1") with good substance and slightly shiny top surfaces. Chartreuse early season color becomes gold by mid-summer and then creamy yellow. Lavender blooms appear on purple scapes in July.
This diminutive Solomon's Seal is proof that plants can be cute. Forming a loose colony to 18 inches wide, dark green leaves are held on 10 inch stems followed by small white bell-shaped flowers held beneath the foliage. Adds great textural contrast to the shaded rock garden.
Yet another dwarf species, moderately spreading, making carpets of ovate, bright green leaves on 4" stems from which the ivory, bell-shaped flowers are dangling.
An adorable diminutive form of Solomon's Seal with 4" stems bearing alternate dark leaves . White flowers dangle from the leaf axils. It will slowly carpet an area and is tolerant of dry shade.
Dwarf Solomon's Seal. This is a grand little creeper spreading to form a very attractive understory to Rhododendrons or taller shade plants. Small white bells simply adds to the charm. Good spreader but not in a bad sense. Really nice.
A miniature carpet of wide green leaves on 6-8" stems and white bells in spring before going summer dormant.
A small perennial ground cover that gets 6” tall and can slowly spread to 4-5 feet in many years a superb dark foliaged plant with small pendulous white flowers in spring. An excellent foil for ferns, hellebores, etc.
