Phygelius x rectus ‘Devil’s Tears’ displays huge clusters of rose red to pink tubular flowers with yellow throats. The profuse blooms are held on sturdy, arching stems with dark green foliage. Hummingbirds love the blooms! Cape Fuchsia is semi-evergreen to evergreen, depending on the weather. Plant in moist, moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, water deeply but infrequently. Makes a great addition to mixed borders, containers, or foundation plantings.
A vigorous, long-blooming shrub, that is semi-evergreen. Blossoms are a bright, scarlet red with yellow throats.
Mounding form to 3' feet with dark green leaves edged with undulate margins. The dark buds open to pendulous deep red-pink flowers with orange-red lobes and a yellow throat. Tolerant of almost any soil type.
