Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A very good form, as it fills a drift mid-border with pure white fragrant rounded flower heads. Try it with Agastache foeniculum 'Alba' and Veronicastrum virginicum for a late summer trio that is elegant and calming. Selected by the Perennial Plant Association as Perennial Plant of the Year 2002.
Renowned for remarkable vigor and mildew resistance, this fine cultivar was discovered in the scruffy fringe of a parking lot by an observant horticulturalist. What a rags to riches success story, and our thanks to the discoverer! This strong late-blooming pure white is now one of the most widely planted phlox in the country, as it well deserves to be, for its? overall good performance and lack of complaint (and mildew) in tough growing conditions. Here in Vermont, it begins blooming in mid-August, and carries on late into September.
The huge pure-white flower heads of this 3-4' stand-out are richly fragrant ; its leathery leaves are totally mildew resistant... a winner! Sun/Med
The best white garden phlox available. Mildew resistant foliage and blooms July-Sept on 3-4' plants. Combines with everything. A must for all summer gardens.
Mildew resistant stems to 2 ft tall bear sweetly scented clear white flowers that are great for cutting.
