One of our favourite grasses, Panicum virgatum 'Shenandoah' has strongly upright steely blue foliage throughout the season with hints of burgundy red. The airy flowers create a great cloud of pink and blue atop the columnar grass in summer. Then in fall, the burgundy tints deepen and spread throughout the foliage creating a great late summer and fall display.
