A stunning honeysuckle with three inch long golden yellow trumpets in big clusters. The buds are often flushed with red. The flowers are very well complemented by large five inch long blue-green foliage. Though not fragrant this species is ore tolerant of shade than other honeysuckle making it a versatile plant to brighten the darker places of the garden.
Lonicera tragophylla is a stunning Honeysuckle for its beautiful yellow and gold flowers that can reach 3 inches each in clusters of a dozen or more flowers per stem tip. The color is very well complemented by the large, clean blue-green foliage. As is that weren't enough, the outsides of the buds are often blushing red! A mature plant in full bloom is such a site to behold! Still not convinced? This vine is very shade tolerant, too! Gotta get one!
