Dwarf Pagoda grows in to a natural bonsai. Known previously as Ilex crenata 'Nummularia', because the leaves are round like coins ("nummularia"), and have a light green halo at the edge after new growth. Very tight internodal growth and irregular habit make it a natural for bonsai. Slow grower reaching only 5' tall after 25 years.
