Hardy and drought tolerant, this Hebe's ever-gray foliage spreads at a height of 16" and blooms in early summer with clusters of pure white. Prefers well-drained soil and lots of sun. Frost hardy to 0F, USDA zone 7.
With small blue gray leaves year round, this native to the south island of New Zealand has a mounding form and in summer will have lots of lavender flowers.
If you are scared of Hebes freezing out in winter than set those fears aside because this one will handle the cold. And it is one of the most attractive as well with gray rounded leaves the envy of all boxwoods and an easy loose mounding aspect with nice white flowers. Needs very little from you.
