(aka FURCRAEA GIGANTEA) Agave relative (which it resembles), succulent rosettes of pointed, unarmed (no spines) sword shaped medium green leaves, trunkless clumps can reach 4’ high & wide and is grown for hemp fiber. After many years, a tall flower stalk plummets skyward 8-10’. White fragrant flowers are followed by tiny baby Furcraeas Since this is monocarpic, the main plant dies after sowing its seed, so be prepared to pot up a few babies! Light shade, well drained soil, drought tolt. USDA Z9 (mid 20’s)
