A showy Crassula, with amber succulent foliage that takes on reddish tones in cooler temperatures. It has a sprawling habit and never gets taller than 6-8". White starry flowers in winter. A.k.a. Crassula erosula 'Campfire'.
Branchy to 1ft. tall with green to bright red leaves. Hardy to 30F.
HOT! Angular lime leaves with shocking fiery highlights bring year-round pizzazz to the xeriscape, container, or sunny border. ‘Campfire’ requires very little care, & prefers a location with good sun & good drainage. Blooms with inconspicuous white flowers in Fall & can be cut back by half afterwards. When planted in mass it can be used as a groundcover – it grows 6" high & as wide as 3’. Stress makes for a more colorful plant, so don’t baby it too much! Inlanders would do well to keep this one away from their hottest sun.
