This species is similar to Beesia deltophylla with glossy, light to mid green, evergreen, heart-shaped leaves tinged in purple when new. The foliage forms dense rosettes and sends up spires of small white flowers in spring. Excellent in well-drained yet evenly moist soil in full or partial shade.
