The large tropical foliage is beautifully splashed and marked with white, cream, and light yellow. This rare selection of the beautiful India Carnation produces a plentiful supply of the wonderfully fragrant clusters of pure white 1.5" frilly double blooms are borne throughout summer on this large shrub or small tree. The fragrance intensifies as night approaches. The India Carnation can be grown in alkaline soils but typically needs ample fertilize to overcome the pH. May be grown in full sun in cooler summer climates but partial sun will provide the best foliage in hot southern regions. Grow the Crape Jasmine in containers where not cold hardy. Moderately drought tolerant once well-established.
