I have this tree planted in part sun and part shade. It gets more or less depending on time of year, but amenable either way. Cinnamomum checkiangense aka Camphor Tree<\/a> might make a lovely addition to your garden.<\/p>\n

The bark is interesting too.<\/p>\n

So tempting to help it peel, but I’m resisting. I can do it, pretty sure.<\/p>\n

More peeling bark. Seems to increase as the tree ages.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I planted this little guy in 2015. A quiet, steady performer.<\/p>\n

The Camphor Tree looks health year round, regardless of pesky inclement weather. You just might need this good small tree.<\/p>\n
