They say all good things must come to an end, right? No, I don\u2019t accept that, but \u201cchange is inevitable \u2013 change is constant<\/em>\u201d that one I believe. After 6 amazing years the time has come for me to move on from plantlust.com. Time for a change \u2013 but even when the change is one you\u2019ve initiated it can still be bittersweet.<\/p>\n

Plantlust.com was, and is, Megan\u2019s<\/a> vision. She invited me along for the ride and I\u2019m still not sure how I lucked into being part of the adventure. What a thing the three of us \u2013 Megan, Patricia and I \u2013 have created! I am so proud of the role I\u2019ve played in growing this company.<\/p>\n

You may think it\u2019s all about the plants, but for me it has always been about the people (well okay, and the plants \u2013 after all the plants are why we\u2019re here). The people I\u2019ve met and the relationships we\u2019ve built are central to what has made plantlust.com so much fun. Our plant lust partner nurseries are owned and staffed by the most incredibly generous and knowledgeable people. You, our users\/readers\/fellow plant-lusters, are full of so much passion, and my partners, Megan and Patricia, well they\u2019ve become like extended family. I am excited to see where they take this company \u2013 I know many great things are in store.<\/p>\n

This is where I wish I had some big announcement about what I\u2019m doing next \u2013 but that\u2019s not the case. I\u2019m not running to anything\u2026but rather taking the time to figure out what it is that I want to do. I\u2019ve got some ideas, but nothing concrete quite yet. And since Megan and Patricia have been kind enough to invite me to come back and guest post on the plant lust blog, you\u2019ll probably hear from me here again. Meanwhile you can still find me over there, on danger garden<\/a>\u2026where Megan and I first connected and where this whole adventure began for me. Thank you for being part of it!<\/p>\n
