Info

An upright green stem that is covered in dense white and black radial spines and long erect central spines. The large flowers are purple and white. Obviously, there are lots of names thrown around. It's probable that this is one of the many forms within the Stenocactus multicostatus complex. In addition, taxonomists go back and forth between Echinofossulocactus and Stenocactus. It appears that Stenocactus has won out for now.
