A compact sprawling sedum with 12" purple stems cloaked with cool dusty lilac leaves, leaving an overall effect of smoky blue. Rose-pink flowers in late summer add contrast. For optimal performance, give this plant lean well-drained soil.

One of the finest Sedums for gardens 'Bertram Anderson' is a classic easy to grow perennial with handome foliage and flowers. Smokey purple succulent leaves on semi-trailing stems to 10" tall. Forms a clump about 1' across in time. In early summer the tips of the branches are studded with clusters of small glowing rosy-pink flowers that are showy for a long time.. Full sun to light shade in good garden soil that is never boggy.

It’s the smoky purple foliage on this baby! 6-8” tall perennial clumps are 12” wide and contrast well with just about any color of foliage or flower. Bright rose star flowers in flattish clusters late summer pump it up a notch…full sun, well drained soil, great in pots, hold the fertilizer. Tough, easy and long lived.
