Descriptions of Arum italicum 'Scottish Silver'
We purchased this stunning selection of Arum italicum from Poyntzfield Herb Nursery in Scotland back in the early 1990s without a cultivar name. Over the years it has proven to be a distinctive and superbly worthy selection that we are pleased to finally have enough to share. The amount of silver marbling on the leaf, which is slightly narrower than normal, is simply superb. As with all Arum italicum, the greenish spathes appear in April as the foliage goes dormant. Our supply is very limited.
