Descriptions of Acer campestre 'Carnival'
English hedge maple is sheared and grown all over England in mixed hedges. The species is multibranched and suckering. 'Carnival' is a very small tree (large shrub) with small leaves that have wide white margins. The plant looks totally white from a distance. Our plant is grown in afternoon shade, as full sun can cause sunburn.
