We can't get enough of this bulb (tuber) in our garden. During fall-winter and spring the deep green foliage has silver overlay making a lovely plant for the well drained border with rhododendrons or other shrubs. In early spring the pink-white flowers appear above the foliage. Can grow well in dry areas under firs etc.

From a round corm which sits atop the ground, these cute rock garden-sized perennials burst forth in late fall with small, rounded, quarter-sized silver leaves highlighted by a dramatic black green border. Cyclamen coum forms small clumps adorned in late winter (January, February in NC) by the 2" tall flowers ranging from pink to purple. The clumps go summer dormant and prefer to be very dry during this rest period. This can be accomplished by planting them under the canopy of conifers or large trees.
