A carnivorous vamp! Sultry red veined pitchers overlaid with intricate silver mesh add color and conversation to your garden areas! Grow it in a pot or pond side in a boggy area. These are HARDY so enjoy them all year outdoors! This is a fast growing selection, 10" tall and 15" wide; the pitchers have a rather horizontal 'reclining' stature. Needs sun, acidic peaty soil (50-50 sand and peat moss), constant moisture and NO fertilizer! Please don't feed me meat…I'll catch bugs when I need them. This is not a houseplant.

With a spreading and open form, 'Scarlet Belle' lends itself to small spaces. The stems and pitchers are beautifully marked in tones of red and meshed white. The narrower hood sets it apart from others in the genus. Another easy-to-grow plant that's perfect for a sunny windowsill and only needs a saucer of water to thrive

This naturally-occurring cross of the white-top Sarracenia leucophylla and the parrot-pitcher Sarracenia psittacina has rapidly become one of our favorite pitcher plants. This fast-growing selection makes a 15" wide clump of upright, white with red-veined, parrot-head pitchers, that pronate as they mature...like they've fallen and they can't get back up. Bugs beware, as each clump can form up to 100 pitchers! This is a selected superior clone propagated through the magic of tissue culture. We think you will really enjoy this one.
