Info

This close relative of Sabal minor, a particularly large growing form, to 6 or 8 ft or more with leaves infused in blue, often forms a very short trunk. Great for a large scale ground cover or individual specimen. Prefers well-drained but moist soil and loves summer warmth. Has proven frost hardy to 0, USDA zone 7 or so coming back from the base; and at 10 to 15F, mid zone 8 without leaf damage.
