An imposing garden icon, reaching to 3-4' tall and wide, where winter temperatures seldom dive below 20 °F, USDA zone 9, for any length of time. A plant in Brookings, OR measures 10' x 10' after 10 years. Has survived 8 °F, zone 7b, with overhead protection for winter dryness.
