Abelia x grandiflora 'Kaleidoscope' 3' - 4'. A very colorful, compact ornamental shrub to add color to a landscape. Leaves are a variegated yellow and green which can turn red and deep orange during the fall. In summer 'Kaleidoscope' has small white flowers which will attract butterflies to a garden. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, 'Kaleidoscope' is relatively pest free and requires little mantinance. Prun out older branches in spring to encourage new growth. With its compact, rounded form 'Kaleidoscope' is perfect for containers, as a formal or informal hedge to line borders or paths, or in a small spaced garden as an accent plant.

The Abelia Grandiflora Kaleidoscope is a variegated evergreen with bright green and yellow leaves in the summer which transforms into a beautiful red and orange color in the winter, and grows small pink buds which bloom into fragrant white flowers in the Spring. When mature, the Kaleidoscope has an average height of 3’, and an average spread of 4’. This plant enjoys full sun to partial shade conditions, is tolerant of heat and drought conditions, and is resistant to pests and deer. The Kaleidoscope is a beautiful plant that is often used for its colors as an accent plant, as hedges, or to pretty up a landscape bed or border.
