Info

Rare native of China and Vietnam, this form collected by Dan Hinkley, a tree to 75 - 100' tall or so in its native habitat, in cultivation reaching 25' in a reasonable amount of time. This member of the cypress family has lovely sprays of red-tinted foliage, often silvery underneath. A pretty addition to any moist situation with carefully drainage in dappled light to full sun. Not to be missed. Frost hardy to a little over 10 °F, USDA zone 8.
