Info

What a great genus! This one has tall upright stems 24-30” topped June Sept with bright yellow daisy shaped flowers with a distinct red eye. Very showy plants are butterfly magnets and deer resistant. Will grow even in dry rocky soils – full sun, will take moderate watering. Must have in the cottage garden, loves the coast, low maintenance, easy and well behaved.

The burgundy center of these golden-yellow butterfly-magnets bleeds along the veins all the way to the petal tips; atop 2' thread-leaved stems; it's beautiful and hardy. Found by Patti Bauer in Lucinda, PA. S/M PPAF
