Info

Variegated white and green leaves tinged with pink add color to a landscape. In early summer, lightly fragrant pinkish white flowers emerge. 'Mardi Gras' has a compact, round form suitable for containers, mass plantings or as a low hedge or border. The smaller size make it a great pick for small space gardens. This abelia can grow 3'-4' wide so may be used in mass plantings along banks as a tall ground cover.

Info

The Mardi Gras Abelia has beautiful foliage displaying pink, green, and white, giving this compact shrub a very unique look. It blooms mildly fragrant white flowers with a pinkish hue which works together to attract butterflies and bees. This compact shrub thrives in full sun with a little acidity in its soil to bring out its most vibrant colors of the season. The neat appearance of this poplar shrub works well in foundation plantings, mixed borders, mass plantings.
