Judith in her ruffled red hood waiting patiently for bugs. Clumping hybrid Pitcher Plant with 18" tall ornate traps. Excellent and dramatic plant for bogs or water containers. Plant into peat with gritty sand mixed in. Very easy to grow. No feeding and very little watering. Submerge no more than 3" in to the water. Dies back a bit in winter- regrows in spring when truly warm weather arrives. Space age green flowers in late spring.

Judith Hindle' is one of the most stunning of pitcher plant cultivars. The raspberry to dusky maroon coloured pitchers are accented with silvery white between red veins on the upper portion of ruffly hood. Full full sun brings out the best colour.
